Questions and answers

What is Fantascores?

A free football prediction game. Before each match you predict the final score; when it ends, you earn points for an exact score or for the right result. You play with friends in your own group and against everyone on the global board.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Fantascores is free to play, for everyone, in every competition.

How does scoring work?

An exact score earns 3 points, the right result with the wrong score earns 1, and a miss earns 0. Each matchday you can make one pick per competition your banker, which multiplies what it scores by 2.

When do picks lock, and who sees mine?

Every match locks 5 minutes before kickoff. At that moment everyone’s picks are revealed together, so every pick on the board was made blind.

What do you play for?

Points, your place in the table and bragging rights. An exact score also earns a match card, and finishing a season on the podium of a table with four or more players earns a gold, silver or copper card you keep.

Is it like fantasy football?

It is simpler: instead of building a squad, you predict the score of each match. It takes a minute per matchday, and plenty of people play both.
